Further CIPA Acts allows collection of data for companies, business, IP and Copyright registration and maintenance. Some of information collected are public under CIPA laws. Therefore any person using this website can view such information

  • demographic information such as postcode, residential address and locations and postal address
  • other information relevant to Online Business Registration System (OBRS)

We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:

  • Company and Business Registration and upkeep of the Registry.
  • We may use the information to improve our services.
  • We may periodically send emails regarding CIPA activities or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address and Mobile Number which you have provided. 
  • From time to time, we may also use your information to contact you for market research purposes. We may contact you by email, phone, fax or mail. We may use the information to customise the website according to your interests.

Comments

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

All information related to company or business names registered through the OBRS is kept for life even for de-registered entities.
